Hey I'm in the tyler area and wanted to know if anyone knew of a place that cost less than like $6 a pound for brisket. Usually walmart puts them on sale for $1.99 around holidays, but its still a bit out till then, and have and have an even coming up for next weekend. Thanks for anyone that knows anything!

If there's a Costco nearby, get a membership for $55/year. Last weekend, they had Choice brisket for $3.49/pound & Prime for $3.79/pound. I make up the cost of my membership just in savings on steak, chicken, pork tenderloin & brisket within 6 months.

I have a sams membership, just most of the time here they aren't any better than just going to walmart on their normal pricing. Yesterday Walmart got in a new shipment, and it was $2.50 a pound, much better, but still too much. Wish there  was a Costco near, closest one is an hour and a half though.

Retired military, commissary has some good prices at times.

At least here in San Angelo.
I wish I could go shop at commisary, I know they have good prices there. They don't let general public shop there any more though, have to be retired or active duty to even get close to the place...
