I live in KC, although Baldwin City, KS is a ways away that would still be a good deal. I've never heard of Kingsford Charwood. Is it lump, similar to RO? Good stuff? I wonder what's damaged...

It looks kinda mixed, probably pretty decent for the low temps but not so good for grilling.

I work with a guy that lives in Baldwin. I would have to talk to him first, but he may be willing to pick it up and bring it up here on his way to work. If you think you may be interested give me a call tomorrow after 8 am. 913 nine two seven 5503.

I'm sitting here trying to decide if I want to try some. It sounds appealing but I am pretty sure I don't need all of it.

It is lump and the only thing damaged he said was some of the bags, he said he had around 6 skids. I have never used it so I don't know how good it is...

I read the same reviews! Looks like it might be worth a shot for $3 or $4/bag. I sent this to my neighbor and we're talking about going in together on some. I'm with you though, not sure I or we need an entire pallet. I need to firm things up with my neighbor, but I will definitely call you if we decide to get some. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the offer to help out. Many thanks.

Looks like the label is a little different. The link above mentions a change in the lump, maybe this is the newer lump and the link to the average review you sent is the older stuff??? Looks like the years of the review show that.

I think you got it right. Late last night I noticed exactly what you have stated. It was made over seas and not its made here somewhere. I think they also said the popping issues are better now that it is made state side, and the down side was there is a little more unusable waste in the bag.

Anyways I'm gonna give it a try and see what happens. I am suppose to go down there in the morning.
