I was surprised this sauce wasn't posted already. It comes from a BBQ joint in Pa. Thanks to my sis in law for the recipe. I love this stuff!!! Try it and let me know what you think. Damn-Tasty, Sure-Simple Rib Sauce
3 tablespoons olive oil
4 each cloves garlic -- minced
1/3 cup brown sugar -- packed
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2/3 cup chicken stock
1/4 cup tomato paste or ketchup
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
Heat the oil in a small, heavy saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until transparent, 2 to 3 minutes. Do not allow the garlic to burn. Whisk in remaining ingredients, reduce heat to low; simmer 15 minutes to 20 minutes, until the mixture thickens. Stir occasionally.
