It's a little sweet and has a kick (I use more pepper flakes and fresh ground black pepper)! I keep a mason mar in the fridge 😀 Damn-Tasty, Sure-Simple Rib Sauce 3 tablespoons olive oil 4 each cloves garlic -- minced 1/3 cup brown sugar -- packed 1/4 cup cider vinegar 2/3 cup chicken stock 1/4 cup tomato paste or ketchup 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes Heat the oil in a small, heavy saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until transparent, 2 to 3 minutes. Do not allow the garlic to burn. Whisk in remaining ingredients, reduce heat to low; simmer 15 minutes to 20 minutes, until the mixture thickens. Stir occasionally.
