Wow, I didn't know the order of the ingredients would have made that BIG of a difference. Good to know though because I purchased a bread machine yesterday for my wife.

Great looking bread y2k, I can almost smell it. We used to roll down the windows in the car whenever we would drive by the bread factory (until they moved), what a heavenly smell.

:( ***SIGH*** :(
What's the world coming to when folks don't want to play with and roll their own bread dough?

Y2-I talked to my neighbor last night that uses a Bread Machine about your misadventure and she told me that the water goes in last!! Glad you were able to troubleshoot the problem for yourself and that bread does look good! I'm having 'puter problems at home or I would have posted this then

(Whisper mode ON) I just may have to rethink this Bread Machine thing-Now where in the heck did that contraption get put. 8) (Wisper mode OFF)

I must say that there is something very thereputic in kneading dough for bread, and I knead alot of dough so I'm pretty much stress free. LOL. There is nothing wrong with bread machines though and I myself have wished for one on occasion when there dosen't seem to be enough time or oven space in the day. You gotta take the shortcuts where you can find them, that or everyone would need a clone to keep up with their busy lives.
