I am located in Easley South Carolina in the U.S.
We have been hot smoking meat for a long time but I am beginning to get into cold smoking. I was introduced to this site by a friend when he sent me a link to the small smoke house built from concrete masonry and cedar. It is the perfect size for my use. I am an architect by profession and the style appealed to me personally. We garden and produce most of the fruits and vegetables that we use by preserving, freezing and canning. Meat preservation was the next logical step. I am looking forward to looking through this site for ideas and resources.
