on sundays,i ussually head to my pop's house and ussually wind up cooking a diner for him and my sis who lives there to watch over him in his advancing years. he can be incredibly cheap,and his bbq pit,while i cant really complain about it(one of those aussie pits with the folding legs)can be a real challenge to cook on. i had decided to go get a better pit(weber silver)for his house and had it in the cart and one of the floor guys came up and told me he would upgrade me from the silver to the gold for the same price. $30 difference. got to the checkout and every thing was smooth. just thought that was pretty cool. tommorow,pork steaks cooked st louis style!
