cooking too quickly?

ok first pulled pork smoked in now i thinking i messing up somehow it is at like 120* after only about 2hrs.......anyone have suggestions on how to save this? i figured 10.5-11hrs for a 7# butt,  but idk only my 2nd time smoking first time was chicken breast turned out good......

hope someone is on here to help would be nice not having to be up all night but had promised pulled pork for the 4th july grillout

Relax, you're doing fine. I am assuming that the 120° temp is the internal temp of the meat, which is OK.

What temp are you cooking at and what kind of cooker are you using?
 
Totally normal. You can expect 140ish in 4hrs, 160ish in 6hrs then a stall for a couple of hours...JJ
 
thanks for the replies i was just getting paranoid 6hrs in and it is at 160* internal and been guessing at the temp since i forgot to get a thermo for inside the grill and i am using a chargriller deluxe with no SFB factory thermo says about 230-240* first pic
