Got to do a "real" cook on my new to me Weber Q. I call it a test run. Just some boneless chicken thighs and carne asada. This Weber Q works great.




Plated with chorizo beans and salsa verde.

I cheated this time..
The chicken was already marinated and so was the meat. The meat market gave me am option on what I wanted. I took the easy way. I will do a cook and post details on my marinades for carne asada.

  As you gain experience & confidence chances are you will probably want to start making your own marinades & rubs so that the meats you smoke are "all yours" & you have full control over the flavor profile
