This may sound like a stupid question, but I asked my cousin to pick up a couple of Boston Butts to smoke and make pulled pork.  I was going to prepare them tonight and put my rub on and noticed he bought the wrong thing.  According to the label he bought Cooked Pork Shoulder Butt.  Can I still use the same process I use for Boston Butts or should I do something different?  Thanks for any advice.

It's already cooked? He didn't notice that? I'd say your best bet would be to reheat it with smoke. Look up "double smoked ham" to get a better idea of times and temps. Also post a picture of the label so we're sure what we're dealing with here.
