I've been looking for a reverse flow on Craigslist for a while with no luck. I stumbled on this and thought I could convert it. I should have asked before purchasing it I realize. Can I put a plate in the bottom and move the stack?

Lance, morning... Looks like there could be a change to it... What is that thing on top of the FB... Looking at the opening between the CC / FB, is it at the top of the FB....
Assuiming all my observations are correct, you might/probably need to cut the FB loose and raise it up.... How much ???? What are the dimensions of the CC.... then use this calculator... What are the dimensions of the FB and Exh Stack... Looks like the doors may need seals.... Blind weld and skip/tracck weld the seals so you don't warp the door...

Thanks! I'll take some measurements. The compartment on top of the fire box holds a water pan. You can see the slots for it in the CC.

Dave will get ya on the right track.. looks like the fire grate is setting ON some fire bricks ??? If so that will need to be raised a couple of inches as well .... Dave might also suggest more vents in the FB door ...

I'll be watching, Like smoker builds and conversions
