I'm still trying to figure out proper storage for my smoker. I'm probably going to get a plastic shed (Lifetime, Suncast etc) and would like to build a chimney. What are the design considerations?
For example, I assume the chimney vent needs to be above the smoker. I'd like the chimney to be removable so I can close up the window in the winter. What about heat concerns (i.e. plastic melting)? How do I make sure the connection from the chimney to the smoker is removeable but at the same time sealed off so smoke doesnt go into the shed and smoke up my stored goods? Or is it inevitable that my shed will smell like a smoke house? Thanks.
