Competition Chicken wings.

  1. Sauce them or not.. I have a feeling most of the competition will be saucing them.. I did a test batch a few weeks ago where I seared with my rub and then smoked for about an hour... Then I finished off in a hot pan just to give a little crisp.. They were outstanding... Will I get docked for no sauce

    Who's sanctioning the contest, KCBS,CBBQA, etc?

    In the FBA sauce is allowed as long as it doesn't "pool" in the box.
     
  3.  I believe they are using KCBS for this event.. I am really thinking of just going with Naked wings.. I think they have more then enough flavor on their own.. Hoping the judges will see that my wings don't need sauce to be tasty
