College dorm size frig for cold smoker

I have a small college size frig that doesn't work and thinking about using it for a cold smoker for my amaz n smoker.  Does anyone know if it will get to hot inside with the amaz n smoker generating smoke to melt any of the plastic inside or should I strip all this out and line it with wood planking. I plan of putting a exsaust hole in the top with a 3 in tube in top for the vent.

Thanks for the web site I really enjoyed it and will use the plans to make a cold smoker.  May try to incorparate a switch on the frig fan to controll the speed of the fan to help cool inside if it gets to hot.
