I have Freezer and Refrigerator shelf racks that over the years have rusted with salt brine solution from brining meat getting on them. I sandblasted them and sprayed them with a Cold Spray Galvanizing and wondered if safe to reuse in Freezer and Fridge. No direct meat contact, and many hold 50 lb. meat tubes.

Thanks,

Joe

If the freezer and frig are for cooling and freezing, and no direct food contact, you'll be fine as long as the spray is completely cured.

Thanks,

They normally hold 50 lb. meat tubs of brined turkeys. Or aluminum trays with sausage and snack sticks. Or frozen turkeys thawing but still in plastic packaging.
