Recently I bought a Maverick ET732 thermometer set.  Question I have:  will closing the door on the cables damage them?  I may be able to run the probes through the vent-hole in the back.....a better solution?

Anyone with this probe set:  what is your advice?  Thanks

Dave

The MAV cables are steel braid, the door won't hurt them. In fact it is more likely the cables will mess up the seal on the door first. Go in through the Vent and keep it wide open during smoking...JJ

is exactly what i do out the vent works great.

Thanks for the response.  The vent at the back of the cabinet is just a one-half inch hole with a chase nipple installed.  It's always open.  I'll run the cables through it and should be good to go.

I appreciate the reply
