I have the MES, and yes it should be fine so long as they fit. Of course mine only has racks, drip tray and water pan without removing screws.

All depends upon the material in your smoker. If the racks are stainless steel, yes,  If chromed or nickel plated, it would depend upon the quality. I hand wash mine as they are not stainless. Only takes a few minutes.

I have the MES 30 Gen 1 and yes, you can. But I just clean everything under running hot water with soap and a heavy duty scrub pad or sponge. Sometimes I have to use powdered stainless steel cleaner for the water pan and drip pan and a scraper for the racks. One time I put the racks in my dishwasher but I've found it faster to clean everything by hand.

Thanks all. I thought it would be fine because they're stainless. I just got a MES 40 and used it yesterday for the first time. I smoked a brisket flat, pork shoulder, 3 racks of baby backs and a pan of Mac-n-cheese! Good stuff!!! Although i may need to tone down the smoke a bit.
