First I ever heard of them and had to look them up. Sure would look nice pickled in canning jars.

I'd be interested in some seed if ya have any.
 
Weren't mine. Saw them at a friends place, she had a potted plant of them. I seem to remember seeing them, or something similar that my folks had when I was growing up. So far that is the only thing that I have found that matches. They do start out purple, then change to their varying hues.
