Used hickory chunks i chopped down some, so they would be bigger than just the chips. Had some corn and threw them on the smoker for the first time , soaked for an hour before putting on and brushed with olive oil, salt and pepper. Chicken was great and the corn was pretty good too.
 
Nice job on that chicken Rick, looks real good.

Had some corn this weekend too but just could not bring myself to put it on the smoker. I love corn so much (just boiled) that I did not want to take any chances messing it up.

How did you find yours compared to simply boiling it?
