Put me a whole chicken and a tri tip on the kettle this evening.
The chicken is just SPOG and will be cooked over indirect till 175 IT in the thigh.
Veggies roasted! Things are coming together.
Looks good, but where's the tri tip?
Thanks Al, the tri tip is in the beef section of the forum called tri tip and chicken. I didn't want to post tri tip shots in the poultry area. The chicken was rested and separated into pieces, kinda boring, no money shots! I am looking into spatchcocking and beer butt methods. I've always cooked them whole on the kettle with great results. It's hard to believe that I could improve on this.
