Driving to Chicago tomorrow, and heading via Route 80 through Pa , Ohio and up to Chicago land, Where to go, where to eat. all suggestions welcome. Pending No Schedule, Detours welcome.

No fast food crap, or chain restaurant stuff. Harley, tattoos and BBQ. Heading to NRA (National Restaurant Show) for work.

Thanks,

I've got a lot of buddies down in Chi-town and we ALWAYS go to eat at the Honky Tonk..they have won numerous BBQ awards, and smoke over all hardwoods..no gas or electric.  They have awesome pulled pork, brisket, stuffed mushrooms caps..you name it, they smoke it.

Here's there info:

Honky Tonk BBQ - Chicago BBQ

For more information contact the restaurant at 312-226-RIBS (7427) or email [email protected]
1213 W. 18th St. • Chicago, IL 60608

Look em up online too, they'll have your mouth watering in no time!  I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Being a member here you probably make better Q then you could fine anywhere in Chi-Town. So try an hook up with a member from here or try a different style of food. I do know That Mike Syman (Iron Chef) has his restaurant (Lola) in Chicago. Another good thing to do is ask the locals they will normally lead you to a good restaurants.
