Just picked up an OK Joe Longhorn stick burner from my local Lowe's.

Assembly was straight forward but I did use some high-temp RTV to join firebox pieces, the chimney (where I also extended to grate-level), and where firebox and smoke chamber join to ensure an airtight seal.

I'll be helping to better seal both doors with some high-temp BBQ gasket and adding a grate-level Tru-Tel thermometer in the next day or so and hope to season her this weekend after I picked up a 1/4 face cord of seasoned oak.

Looking forward to sharing pics of the good stuff that comes out of her this summer. Cheers!

Welcome to the board! I'm running a stick burner too and I love it. Fussy like a steam locomotive but very capable.

Settle in and look around here, there's a lot of information.
