Hi All,
I am a newbie to smoking and have not used anything other than charcoal so far, however as charcoal will be nigh on impossible to get hold of for the next few months i have seen a load of cherry available locally, as i'm not sure if it would be suitable and don't really want to waste £90 ($200ish) i would appreciate input on the following description, i think i'll have to split it further and store it but all advice appreciated.
CHERRY LOGS (LIMITED SUPPLY). 2nd picture show size of load although this picture is not cherry wood.
THESE TREES WERE FELLED TWO YEARS AGO AND HAVE RECENTLY BEEN SPLIT INTO LOGS. YOU HAVE TO SMELL THE AROMA OF FRESHLY SPLIT CHERRY JUST LIKE BAKEWELL TARTS !!
