I have been nice and helpful (as usual, heheheh) and Katie wanted to reward my good behavior.

She got a little bonus for working the other night and she bought me a Prime, Dry Aged NY Strip!!!wow.

I am going to give it a short marinade in fresh garlic, rosemary and thyme.
I will grill it over a nice thick, hot, coal set of charcoal and a couple mesquite chunks.

She even got me a little hunk of Maytag blue (Thanks Iowa!)

I'll post the finish pics.
Man I married a good gal!

oh for sure, brother! Italion EVOO, I didn't use the single origon organic because of the heat. but it's the real deal non the less.

I am grilling some heirloom Tomatos from the yard and half a head of garlic.

then we will have it with bread and Fresh local pasta and the blue crumbled on top so it's not too melty.

That steak was a bute. Myself I just couldn't add all that stuff to it, I just like it simple, alittle kosher and fresh cracked pepper. You meal does look good. You ought to be a good boy more often LOL

That is one FINE piece of meat there!
Overall EXCELLENT meal shapin up.
Love the heirlooms.

Aren't the countertops great? I've got Silestone.
Makes life easy.

Here it is, dinner was great!

I have a piece of bread pudding waiting , gotta go.

That really looks good chef. Bet it tasted even better. You know, that plate looks like it could use a few more pieces of that great steak on it. Then you'd have a meal!
