Hello all, this is my first time posting, I've been looking at this site now for a while but haven't introduced my self. I got into BBQ around 5-6 years ago but more frequently with in the last 2 years. I am a surgeon living in Southern Illinois with my wife and 5 children. Never a dull moment, my equipment over that last 2 years has been a Brinkman Trailmaster offset which I liked but wanted something more substantial as I occasionally do some larger cooks than my immediate family for friends and charities. I recently took delivery (four days ago) of a Lange 60 deluxe. I have fired it up and seasoned it twice and will be ready to get some meat on it the weekend hopefully. That's pretty much it. I have taken some pics of my new smoker.

If I only knew then (when I bought my cheap offset smoker), what I know now after finding this forum, I would also be the proud owner of a Lang. I only live a couple of hours away from Lang and could have picked it up myself and saved on shipping. Probably could have gotten a good face-to-face deal, too. In any case, your Lang looks great and now that you've wet your feet in the forums, don't be afraid to divulge your smoking secrets. This is where I come to learn how to smoke and I need all the help I can get.
