What's happening guys?  My name is Reggie and I live outside of Washington DC.  I'm been grilling for about 20+ years (basically pork and poultry).  My sister bought me a Masterbuilt smoker (30-inch electric) for xmas (yes it's electric), but it's a start.  I've been wanting to start smoking before I got this smoker and now I don't have excuse.  I've checking out this AWESOME website and figured you guy could point me in the right direction to awesome smoking.

Awesome...I'm looking forward to them.

Awesome...I do believe I'll start with chicken for the superbowl.

Welcome from SC, Reggie. It's good to have you on this great site. IMO, chicken is always good to start with. It's easy, quick and inexpensive. Look on the search bar for spatchcocked chicken. This is a great way to cook chicken and turkey. I don't do it any other way any more. It cooks very evenly and is also easier to carve.

Good luck and good smokin', Joe
