So new I haven't picked up the smoker yet! Been a freelance outdoor writer since High School. Of course, I have done the "backyard BBQ" thing, but am excited to get a smoker and learn some completely new things! As for my "bill-paying" job, I am a Facilities Manager with an AZ University.

Welcome to the SMF. Take your time in selection a new smoker, and try to get one that is larger than what you think you'll need. Mo is better.
