    Whole fryer yardbirds for $0.49 a Lb !

    I filled my freezer and sentenced one to the grill. I gave my kids ( 5 1/2 and almost 3 y/o) a lesson in chicken anatomy with a spatchcoking. I kept on cutting untill I had it all trimmed out. I gave it a bath in some chipotle marinade then on to the grill with some sweet pepper poppers..

    Looked the same on the plate so this is the end of the q view...

    Thats a heck of a deal and they look good on that grill too!!

    This is a great deal! We have Bi-Lo stores here that do things like that sometimes. I'm with you, load up that freezer! Good looking on the grill too!

    Ok I give up I have always wondered why they are called Yard Birds and now I just need to know.

    In the south there called yard birds because there running around the yard eating everything in their path. If you ever get to try one they are great! The flavor is totaly diferent than those you get in stores. Due to thier diet!

    damnit! i had to look at the O.P. date.........i almost jumped in the dang truck to go git some birds..........i though P4B was holdin' out on me!
