Hey there y'all. My names Dale B. And I'm from north western Kansas. I'm really excited to join this site. I'm not a seasoned "Smoker" , but not a beginner either. I've been using my charcoal/wood smoker for the past 2 years fire quite often on several different types of meats. I enjoy it alot and am always looking for ways to perfect my smoking methods. My favorite woods to use are : Apple,Hickory, and Mesquite. I really love blending them all. The flavor is incredible. At least my wife, family and friends all think so, as do I.
Any way, I do have a question. I'm looking for anything/advise on using black berry wood for smoking. I've read a few older posts on the idea of some people using it but no one really said they used it. Is there anyone on here who's actually used BlackBerry wood for smoking? If so, please message me. I'm really lookin forward to trying it out but would like some insite first. Thanks

Welcome from SC, Dale. It's good to have you here on this great site. Sorry, I don't know anything about blackberry wood. You might want to build a small fire outside of your smoker and put on some of the blackberry and see how the smoke smells. Good luck, Joe. :grilling_smilie:
