Went to BJ's today to look at the Char-griller Kamado Acorn Kooker . They had two on the floor already built . Found one that looked like it was put together fairly well and asked for a price drop because the manual was not with it and it was the floor model . It came with a cover and the deflector which i figured was worth about another $60 , I could be wrong . Well they told me $235.00 and I grabbed it . Stuffed it in the back of my RAV 4 and now I'm burning it in . Pretty nice looking cooker and I'm able to control temps better than my old off set . I also have a MES 30 digital electric but between the temp control problems and the lack of that good charcoal taste I am now burning coal again .
