I have one and have not had an issue besides learning the different p settings it has. Have used a traeger and this is just as good and little bigger for less money.
Greetings...welcome to the SMF. Yes, I have the CG pellet smoker and am quite pleased with it & happy so far. I've had no negative issues with it that have been brought up by others. PC chip is fine, no damaged parts, no auger issues etc. It, IMO, appears to be well built with decent, heavy steel as opposed to the GMG Daniel Boone or Traegers for twice the price. I'm not slamming either of those units BUT they are more than twice the price of my CG, smaller and felt skimpy when I was tire kicking them up close and personal. My CG at Lowes was only $450 and I went with the extended warranty from Lowes for $50 which kicks in after the 1 year mfg. warranty. In 3 years 'maybe' I could get that Yoder I really wanted, but for now, the price with S&H is off my radar. IF you can find one in your area, go for it. They are scarce up here in the PNW....Lowes ran out then only got 3 back in stock so I jumped on one. HTH, Willie Here it is in full smoke mode...plenty for me
hi< thank you for the reply, this will be my first smoker so I am doing my research on what smoker I should go for, but I was at Lowe's up here in Ontario, Canada and my friend said to look at Char-Griller 580-sq in Pellet Grill, I like this style instead of a box like Bradley, it seams like the grill is a lot more versatile. Yes Yoder looks nice but the price is off my radar as well lol....
