Central Florida Rookie

Hey hey folks!

Chris here, from Lakeland, FL. I am just getting started in smoking (see my dumb mishap here). I bought a the Lowes' flavor of cheap smoker, the Master Forge Charcoal Smoker, after reading some reviews here and in other places. 

For a little background: I am a former Marine, now financial analyst and CPA candidate with a young family (2 under 2). I thought smoking might be a good new way for me to join my need for a hobby with my love of food (specifically, smoked meat). My uncle is a member here somewhere or other, so I thought I'd stop by on his recommendation, and looking forward to learning from yall.
