can I cure Pork chops for days?

    As the title says...how long can I cure 1lb of pork chops using Morton Tender Quick?

    Any help is much appreciated.

    How long CAN you?  Or how long to you NEED to?  Bearcarver uses TQ a lot and hopefully will be along soon to offer some advice.  In the meantime, here's the tips page from the TQ site.  Maybe you're answer can be found here.

    yea..seen the links..thanks...but am looking for an answer to how long could I cure?

    what I was hoping to accomplish was canadian bacon. I just didn't have the loin at the time.

    All you would need to do is follow the instructions for curing Canadian Bacon to get what you want...  Just remember to use the proper amount of cure for the amount of meat you are curing.
