Just bought an ANMPS to pair with my new Masterbuilt Cookhouse electric.  Wondering if the ANMPS will burn woodchips?  I haven't been able to find a good source of pellets around Kingston, Ontario.

I think I know the answer, but thought I would check with the experts.

Canadian Tire is selling Louisiana Grills now and carries their brand of pellets. $20 for 20 pounds.

at least here in the sticks where i live on the west coast they are. do a search for your store on the web.

good luck

Thanks I will check them out again.  They have been getting much better in terms of BBQ products.

I remember this question coming not long ago, if i remember right you can burn chips in the anmps, the only thing is you won't get the 10-12 hours like you will with pellets

Hi there I'm from Kingston too (originally). Now in Hamilton. Try home hardware they usually stock traegar. CT has a growing selection of pellets and there is a Chadwick's and hacks in Ottawa that stocks traegar and I think another kind. If you ever go to Bass Pro stop at the worlds biggest BBQ store they have a lot.

You might be able to get real small chips going, almost sawdust type chips, but I have tried shavings from my Jointer, planer, and shaper, and it really isn't worth the effort.

If you can't find pellets, check with Todd---He might know of a Canadian source.
