Paoli, Ok
Well after finally finishing my tour and being able to join, I cant say I am very happy to be a "newbie" in SMF. My Name is Tanner DeArman of Paoli Oklahoma. I currently smoke out of two custom built smokers (offset), and am currently building a new multi drum smoker that should be able to roast a whole pig on one side, several racks of ribs, and swivel to suit my needs (excited!

) I love my country, wife, dogs, and my OKLAHOMA SOONERS. Can't wait to get started sharing and learning with everyone. Any questions, comments, or concerns feel free to PM me.

May your smoke always be blue,

                                                                                                                                        Tanner

Oh and I guess I should have stated that I consider my skill level to be "moderate". I say this because while I have smoked several pieces of meat and had plenty of good results, I find I am always improving and learning everytime I fire up the smoker or grill.

tanner,

welcome to SMF,

Thank's for your service.

If you ever quit learning something every time you smoke, Smoking will  not be fun anymore ,Just another way to cook food.

WELCOME Tanner, from the sound of it you ain't no "newbie" where it counts.  Thanks for your service!

Since we can't look over your shoulder, send lots of photos and take advantage of all the resources.

Can you post some photos of your smokers too?  Would love to see them.

Tanner - looking forward to seeing some of your smokes

i've been told its not the best way by several but i am a wood-only man through and through. I use mainly pecan and mesquite (perfect sweet and smoky) but i also use some apple, hickory, and oak on occasion :)
