I just saw a picture of the Cajun Injector Smoker and it looks like a MES. I was wondering if it is a 30 or a 40. If it is a 40, that seems to be a very good deal.

Yes it is the same as a 30 inch MES. I had bought one a year or so ago. I quickly found I needed the extra room that the MES 40 inch had and bought one from Sams. It works well but just smaller and a longer recovery time when you open it up to spritz or whatever.

From what I have seen looking at a Cajun in a local store, the wood chip feeder setup on the Cajun is a bit different than on the MES. On the Cajun, there is a chute on the side for feeding/sliding the chips in to the wood tray. I can't say if this is better or worse than the chip feeder method (fill, insert, and turn) on the MES, but it is slightly different. The digital control unit on top has the same functionality but looks different. The smoker box and other parts appear to be otherwise the same.
