  1. Hello everyone. My name is Larry and live on the outskirts of New Orleans, Louisiana. I'm retired and have always loved to BBQ and cook. As you know, Louisiana does have some great food. I wanted to try more "low and slow" cooking so I recently purchased a Weber Smokey Mountain 22.5" and will now venture into smoking also. I know your forums have great recipes and I am anxious to try my hand at some of them.

  6. HI Larry, Always good to see another Cajun on the forum. I live in Gonzales just south of you. You won't regret purchasing the Weber Smoky Mountain. I got one after using the ECB for years. it was like moving out of hell and into heaven. Good luck with your smokes.
