I would check and see how the seal is around the door I know my masterbuilt propane smoker the would lose a lot of smoke/heat around the door because it was bent some around the door and I could never get a tight seal
U can get rope type gasket the kind they make for wood stoves they do make a kind of foam gasket that u just tape it on but I just used high temp silicone gasket maker that's the cheapest way to go they sell it at any auto parts store or wal mart it cost like $3 I just applied it to the smoker and make sure u use something like wax paper so u don't silicone the door shut just make sure whatever u use make sure it's high temperature
