Need some advice... smoking a few Boston Butt's today & plan to pull for game day tomorrow. Gonna wrap in foil at 165F... should i continue to smoke until internal is 195-205F & reheat in smoker/oven tomorrow @ 250 or do i take it off at the internal 165F point and finish the smoke/cook tomorrow? If cooked until internal is 195-205F today, do i pull it today or pull after the reheat?

First off welcome to SMF. Now I would smoke it all today and then re-heat tomorrow. I would however re-heat using a pasta/ steamer pot to reheat. It will not only get the meat hot it will preserve any moisture that is in the meat and also bring out the great smokey flavor too.

I always do it in one day, pull it, and add the finishing sauce. A crockpot is a great way to heat it up and keep it warm for hours.

What they said... Let the cooking process go all the way. Pulled pork reheats very well. Besides, this way there'll be less to do on gameday..

Thanks for the help..... decided to do the pulled pork, Dutch's Enchiladas & Wicked Baked Beans...... time to fire it up!!!
