Hey all. Did my first butt on the CCSV24 this past Saturday. Turned out perfect! The last one I did was on an electric ECB and I'm glad I upgraded to this new smoker. Got a Butt from Sam's around a 9 easily I think. It was a package of two totaling 16lbs and one was cut bigger; this was my first bone in too. Anywho, smoked at 225* with a mix of hickory, apple, cherry, peach & sugar maple. Took me 9 hours to get to 160*; at that point I wrapped and placed in the oven at 225* until it hit 200*. Let it rest for a few hours and pulled. Used the finishing sauce and it was goood.
