My name is Wayne and I live 45 mins. from New Orleans, La. I am the owner of Hatway Custom Ironworks. I became tired of working for someone else and started my own business 2 years ago. I built a few pits in the past and would like to make one for myself now, I have a 48" pipe and would like to build a rotisserie pit with 5 or 6 shelves 12" x 44" . My old boss has one but I'm not sure if he would let me go over it and I built it over 6 years ago and forgot almost everything I did. The burner we made out of 2x2 tube caped on one end and the fitting welded on the other for the propane. I'm looking for some plans for the pit itself, door opening, gear size for the motor, layout for the trays, anything I would need to get this pit cooking.
