here are a few more extras I added today, maybe tomorrow, I will get the fenders and shelves on and the propane tank holder plus the front jack.

Today, I added the grease drain and valve, plus a gauge, and a propane Twig lighter which also can double as a second fuel, got 300 degrees with it!! (talk about pre-burning wood---oops--i mean twigs!!!)

Should I make a small propane 6" side burner for some onions or an egg? I am afraid it might be too close to the tank---BOOM:-)

That's amazing Steve...well done!
Can't wait to see it in action.

I was thinking about the lawn tractor---maybe I will paint it up with an Earnhart paintjob?

Had warm weather today, so I removed all the old fireman's paint from the air tank, and finished fabricating fenders/shelves, the screw-jack, a propane tank clamp, and a twig basket. Painted everything and she is humming at 250 right now for a final seasoning!!

Here's the pics:-)

Steve,

That has GOT to be the coolest thing I have seen since I started looking at smokers. The finished product looks absolutely AWESOME.

Great job!!

Dave

Steve...that is awesome. Showed it to my wife and she thought it was a full size smoker. Explained to her that the propane bottle was a hand held...then SHE was impressed.

I can see you serving these for breakfast out of that thing on the morning of a comp.....

Pigs in a blanket....small sausages wrapped in biscuit dough.

Hats off to you for a superb build! Sitting next to the big smoker it looks like you'd have to call it Mini Me. Awesome Job!

Thanks for the nice comments guys including Richtee, Neens, Ken, and Cowgirl too!

To answer your question MiniChef---Her name is "Twiggy", since she basically will be burning the maple and oak twigs that fall in my yard!!!!

Sincerely,

Steve

I plan on using the cork hole for remote thermometer access---very observant!!

You know, that Twig Burner is so small, that I am thinking about drilling a hole in the back behind the door which would allow me to slide my probe right into the meat from outside!! (Sounds bad but it really would work:-)

The baby lang is awasome...............I love it...............That would be cool to have............Great job...................
