That looks awesome. Question, what is TQ? I love my bacon, but the store bought stuff has lost it's flavor and appeal for me. I don't know what they do to bacon these days, but there's no smokey flavor or flavor at all. Thank goodness my monster tomato growing plant died from blight in the spring. LOL
 
T Q  is Morton's Tender Quick  The bacon these days are full of all kinds of stuff. If you notice it is sold by weight, I cooked some store bought this morning it takes extra time because all the water that is injected has to cook out before it really starts to cook.

Thanks Gary. I should have thought a bit more about it. I might have come up with the answer...doubt it, however. LOL Soon as I beat my printer into submission, I'll have to print the recipe and instructions out so I can get it all correct. Thanks again Gary.
