Got me a brisket for a Saturday smoke. Weather not looking so good only in the teens but that won't stop the WSM :)

Looks good so far Tyo. I was wondering what you pay a pound for brisket up there, I was at the store yesterday and they had flats for $7.49 a pound.

I scratched my head and walked away.

I payed 2.68 a pound for a full packer... WOW 7 bucks a pound that would hurt my wallet real fast and i think the wife would shoot me lol

tyotrain,

What did you pay for the brisket? I noticed the other day at my local "Wally World" that they wanted 4.58 a pound... for Brisket.... Seems insane for the toughest cut a meat possible

12 pounder was right around $31.00 bucks

Awesome looking brisket! Nice job Tyo!

We get our briskets at Wally World too, haven't been disappointed yet. They seem to have nice big ones all the time, 15-17 lbs. for $2-$3 a pound.
