Brisket Sear

Has anyone tried the SmokyOkie sear method...with a weed burner? Maybe put it on the cold grill and take the burner to it. Easy to stop and turn over to get even sear all over.

nope....

the pat's looked good, but they only played the jets.....but I think they will do well this year...... they are fairly well rounded, next week should be more of a test with the chargers.....maybe....

Don't EVEN try a weedburner. Sear it over a REALLY HOT lump charcoal fire in a grill. You want that flavor. A gas grill is not a real option either.

Evidently for a long, long time. Personally, I guess I always thought that stealing signals was part of the game and not really cheating. There are other allegations though.

But to show you how slow I am, took me a while to figure out what a weed burner was. Thought it was some kind of smoker. Then I figured it out, it's a WEED BURNER!!!!

Seems like they caught the camerman last year too, but didn't tie it to the Pats. 1st round draft pick is a pretty light fine I think (I don't even consider the 500k and 250k worth mentioning due to the amount of money pro teams have, unless it counted towards the cap). Lots of pressure to win though.

Looks like the camera issue didn't matter. The boys were on fire last night for sure. SD 'Bolts ran into a big buzzsaw. 'Pats were PO'd. Held LT to 43 yards. Gave Bellichick the game ball. They already traded for another first round pick too. Sport Illustrated writers calling it "cold-blooded efficiency". TV showed both sides taping from up in the booth.

BTW, brisket done the Smoky Okie way is the only way from now on!!!
