Brisket on a stick burner

  1. Here is a couple pics of a brisket on my Shirley Fabrication smoker/cooker. I've never cooked solely with wood alone. Let me first give a few pics of my cooker.

The craftsmanship and quality in the cooker are amazing!

    Good looking Brisket Papa.

Question about your smoker - how do you like it? Pretty easy to keep temps?

Have you used it in cold weather yet?

I've heard a lot great things about the smokers from Shirley, very impressive. That's actually the model I was looking at on their website.

    Just wondering your thoughts.

  6. Congrats on the new smoker and on that brisket  Nice job  [IMG]

  7. Question about your smoker - how do you like it? I just got it and I love it so far.
Pretty easy to keep temps? Yes, no different and in some ways easier than charcoal. (Note: this is not a "set it and forget it" type of rig.)
Have you used it in cold weather yet? No but I plan to. I cook all year around. My cutoff is anything below zero, I purchased the insulated firebox to help.

That's actually the model I was looking at on their website. Go to the Facebook page to better see up-to-date builds. They are custom units and they can make whatever you want.
