Thanks to all on here that got me thru my 1st brisket..... it came out WUNDARFULLLL!!!

It got to 180 in 7.5 hrs, had a daquiri , I wrapped in foil and let it cook another 45 min, had another daquiri ,,then wrapped it in towels and coats and stuffed it in the cooler for 2 hrs. And ofcourse had another daquiri or two

Our dinner guests raved over it... tender and juicy! Thanks for all your help

Nice brisket and nice boat in the background. Do you take it on the Columbia or out on the salt? I sure miss fishin' for gators on the Columbia. Best day out was 7 peelers to the boat with the smallest at about 8'. Good times!
