I've got a previously frozen brisket that I bought thawed in April with a sell by date of 5/2/15. It has been in the fridge since mid April when it was bought. I had other plans for it, but it didn't happen. I'm either going to cook it on Sunday or throw it away, and I'm looking for some feedback. I am pretty conservative with food safety in general. I always keep a close eye on the 4 hour mark and I always date things in the fridge/freezer. I'm thinking because this is vacuum sealed, it might be worth a sniff test. Let me know what you think.
