Just starting on this adventure. Have always depended on the fellows to do the outdoor cooking. Now it's my turn.

Welcome Sue... A little more info would be helpful. Smoker type/brand? Location? Experience? All can have a bearing on advice and help we can give.

Welcome to SMF Sue. I suggest taking Jeff's 5 Day ecourse its free and full of good info. There are alot of good people around here willing to help with questions. There are also alot of posts with great recipes and tips in them. Have Fun and Happy Smoking

Hello suecarter. Plenty of other gals here, so you ain't alone. When / if you have questions be sure to ask. Someone is usually around to get you a quick answer. If you haven't already, consider signing up for Jeff's free 5-day ecourse.

Welcome to the forum and I hope you have had more experience cooking than I have besides Grilling? I am fairly new also and picked up on "Smoking a Fattie" here. They are delicious and designed for the cook to snack on while waiting on perfection, I think? Good Luck
