My name is James. I live in the Pacific Northwest, just outside of Portland, OR. By day I'm a paramedic and by night I'm a full-time dad. I'm new to smoking but not new to grilling. I bought myself a cheapy little Brinkmann "Smoke'n Grill" charcoal smoker for about $60 to start out on and successfully smoked my first 5lb pork shoulder this week. HOLY MOLEY was that delicious!!
